Kohle & Kabel
A hundred and twenty-five years of a regional utility, told in the hall where its first turbine contract was signed.

The brief
The client wanted an anniversary evening for 780 staff, retirees and municipal guests that did not feel like a gala. The board was explicit: no red carpet, no ballroom, and nothing that would embarrass the people who had actually done the work.
What we did
We put the stage at floor level on the long axis, so the winding engines framed it instead of being hidden behind drape. The programme ran forty minutes: three short speeches, a commissioned brass piece, and a slow lighting sequence that walked the audience through the hall rather than pinning them to a screen. Sparks were a single controlled cue, cold-spark units on a fire-watch permit, at the end of the brass piece.
How it went
Eighty per cent of guests stayed past midnight in an unheated hall in November, which is the only attendance metric we trust. The client rebooked the room for 2026 before the load-out was finished.
