Six buildings, one shaft field

A winding-engine hall, a coke-oven battery, a headframe deck, the pithead baths, a compressor hall and a blending bunker. Capacities, technical data and what each one costs.

Interior of the winding-engine hall at night, riveted steel roof trusses lit red above the two winding engines.
01 · Winding-engine hall

Fördermaschinenhalle Dellwig III

Built 1912 · Shaft Schacht Dellwig III, 782 m

The largest room we hold: 68 metres of riveted steel with both winding engines still on their foundations. Eight hundred people fit without the hall feeling full.

04 · Pithead baths

Waschkaue Emscherweg

05 · Compressor hall

Kompressorenhalle Süd

Built 1907 · Shaft Schacht Dellwig I, 694 m
